Hi,
We have a 1988-90 (can't remember exact year atm) laser in our driveway that we need to get rid of. The car has been owned by our family since new (mum bought it new and her mum has been driving it the last decade or so but it has since been replaced by a new barina). Since the purchase of the barina it hasn't had any use and we need it gone. Now, the car has no roadworthy nor would I have any idea what it would need but tyres are a given. The car hasn't done too many Km (160,000ish from memory) and still starts and runs well considering it hasn't been driven in near 6 months although blows a bit of smoke (not blue) on startup. The body isn't in the best of condition, no rust that I've found and there is a dent in the rear bumper from a towbar although the interior is top notch. The question is, should we just take it to a wrecker and get what we can for scrap metal or would it be worth trying to sell, I have no idea what it's worth but any idea of a value (realistic) would be great. Not after a lengthy sale just want it gone ASAP. Cheers Andrew |

put it on ebay as a bush basher or a parts car someone might want it
$ 500 unregistered running max .. if not start at $200 then if it doesnt sell crush it / wrecker might give you $50 and make a fortune

Thanks for that, most I will be able to get from a wrecker is $200/tonne for scrap metal but was hoping for around $400 for the car as is, I think I'll put it on eBay and see how it goes.
